South Africa parliament agrees to confiscate land without compensation

South Africa’s parliament on Tuesday passed a motion brought by the radical left party, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), to confiscate land without compensation. The motion, which would include a review of the constitution, was sponsored by leader of the EFF, Julius Malema, and was passed by an overwhelming majority of 241 votes in favor versus 83 votes against the proposal.

Julius Malema in the past has been filmed calling on his followers to destroy South African white farmers (see video below).

The parliament said the confiscation, or “expropriation”, must be done in a way that ensures food security, economic growth and radical economic transformation.

The ANC tabled the amendments to the opposition party’s motion, which resolved that the Constitutional Review Committee of Parliament review Section 25 of the Constitution and other clauses, where necessary, to cater sufficiently for the principle of land “expropriation” without compensation.

South Africa is becoming increasingly dangerous for white farmers. To find out more please visit suidlanders.org.
