Dozens of Palestinians have been killed along the Gaza border region by Israeli forces today, according to Ashraf al-Qidra, the Hamas-run Health Ministry spokesman.
Israeli forces shot and killed the Palestinians during mounting protests along Gaza’s border with Israel, the officials said.
Protests along the border have been ongoing for seven consecutive weeks since March 30 to protest the US’s embassy move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Every Friday, protesters have burned tires and attempted to scale the border wall with Israel.
Protests are also occurring today at Ramallah as the United States inaugurates its controversial new embassy in Jerusalem.
