RNS poll finds 69% of voters believe we are in the end times

A poll conducted on this website found that when asked “are we living in the end times?”, 69% of voters believe the answer is “yes”. A further 14% answered “maybe”, with 17% answering “no”.

The 69% majority who believe we are living in the end times are certainly justified in their conviction. While many may argue that tumultuous times have always engulfed the earth, there are certain indications, such as the presence of hi-tech, that we are in a time unlike any other.

In the Book of Revelation in the Bible, it tells us that a global dictator will rise to power and enforce a new worldwide method for every person on earth to transfer money: “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13:16-17).

For thousands of years this has not been possible for any leader on earth to do, because it requires advanced technology to create an economic system like this. But today the technology exists! We actually have the technology whereby every person on earth could be receive an electronic chip under their skin and use it for financial transactions.

Besides the earthquakes, tsunamis, wars and rumors of wars happening on a global scale today, certain aspects of present technology are probably the most ominous signs of the end of this age.
