Turkey’s Erdogan: “We will never allow Jerusalem to be stolen by Israel”

Yesterday (Wednesday) Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan vowed that Turkey will never allow Jerusalem to be “stolen” by Israel. This rhetoric was in response to the recent events in Gaza where Israeli forces killed over 60 Palestinian protesters as the United States relocated its Israel embassy to Jerusalem.

Speaking at a dinner in Ankara, Erdogan said, “Even if the whole world shuts their eyes, we will not allow Israeli cruelty. We will continue to be with our Palestinian siblings not only with our hearts, but with all our resources,” he said.

“We will never allow Jerusalem to be stolen by Israel.”

Not so long ago, a Turkish publication with close ties to Erdogan published an article that hypothesized how Israel would size up to an “army of Islam” that could come against the Jewish nation.

Turkey, under President Tayyip Erdogan, is becoming a serious threat to the nation of Israel.
