2018-02-10 13:42 (GMT) Harduf, Israel – Footage shows police and emergency services active at the crash site of an Israeli F-16 fighter jet that was shot down by Syrian anti-aircraft fire near the Israeli village of Harduf this Saturday, according to Israeli forces.
According to the Twitter account of Spokesperson and Head of Social Media of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Jonathan Conricus, Israel recently intercepted an Iranian drone entering into Israeli territory from Syria.
Conricus also tweeted that the IDF is striking “numerous” Syrian and Iranian military targets in Syria, “in response to Iranian aggression”. The IDF claimed on its twitter account that “anti-aircraft missiles were fired towards Israel, triggering alarms in northern Israel.”
